Susan and Nick’s charming The Barn at Raccoon Creek wedding venue was the perfect location for their rustic and chic wedding celebration with 100 of their loved ones. Luckily, it was the last warm day in October before a big snowstorm rolled over the state. This sweet wedding features our classic bride in an oh-so classic and chic Alyssa Kristin wedding dress with a fitted silhouette and a long dramatic train. Along with her bridesmaids in elegant and chic pastel blue dresses, the group of ladies looked picture-perfect. The colors of the bride’s pastel bouquet from Fairytale Floral added a romantic touch, and the overall rustic elegant style continued into the barn reception, with a rustic wood dessert table and a white sparkling draped backdrop set up by Elite Entertainment.

The charming grounds of the barn include endless green lawns and pretty light filtered through trees everywhere throughout the grounds. When the sun began to set over the lake and the foothills of the Rockies, a nearby lake was the perfect spot to capture the couple’s first portraits as husband and wife in the golden hour!
