Our inspiration for this shoot was the beautiful city of Sydney itself! The Royal Botanic Gardens, the Opera House as well as the ferry across the Sydney Harbor offered gorgeous views and a beautiful backdrop for this bride and groom portrait session. By the time we arrived at Kirribilli Point, the sun had set perfectly behind the city which allowed us to capture some dramatic sunset photos of our couple!
We were lucky enough to have two gorgeous wedding gowns from LUV Bridal Sydney. EASTON and RADA, both designed by Madi Lane, are elegant, romantic and incorporated some of the latest trends. Our model bride Courtney totally rocked them both!
Since we were traveling from the US, it was such a big help to have Natalie of EventZen on board for all of the planning! With her expertise and attention to pretty details, this shoot was one for the books – and such a treat to photograph. The vibrant bridal bouquet by Rachel at En Saison added the prettiest pop of color to all photos, including some of Australia’s native flowers like the protea. And if you have two wedding dresses, you also need two bouquets, right? Rachel did a phenomenal job designing a second floral arrangement in pastel tones for Courtney to have with the second outfit. The flawless classic bridal look was created by hair and makeup artist Sarah of Blossom Hair and Makeup who left our bride looking oh-so-chic and elegant.
Even though they only met on the day of our styled shoot, Cortney and our model groom Mark had the BEST chemistry and gave us nothing but the best giggles to photograph. It goes without saying that we absolutely enjoyed capturing these fun and authentic moments throughout it all.
