Our goal for this inspirational shoot was to show that intimate indoor elopements are charming, and as an added bonus, they can be held in unique parts of the venue. The Sanctuary Golf Course is a true Colorado destination wedding venue and such a gem with its close location to the city of Denver. We chose the grand indoor fireplace of the venue as the backdrop of the ceremony and for the table setup to showcase the warm and rustic feel of this winter elopement.
The gray silver linen tablecloth along with clear ghost chairs and aztec-patterned plates from Colorado Party Rentals complemented the cozy and elegant theme perfectly.
The predominantly fresh white florals with dried elements of palm leaves and white fern were designed by the amazing Inspired Designs Denver. Julie created everything from elegant centerpieces with cream floating candles to a stunning floral piece sitting on the incentric stonework of the fireplace creating the perfect backdrop for this shoot as well as a stunning bridal bouquet and headpiece to go along with the theme. It is truly a floral explosion at it’s finest!
The local bridal boutique Casa Bianca Bridal collaborated with an exquisite long sleeve wedding gown. This timeless and classy dress surprises with an open illusion back and a trail of buttons that string all the way down to the sweeping chapel train! A gorgeous dress perfect for colder months.
After an indoor portrait session the sweet couple snuggled up by the fireplace and enjoyed a whiskey while recalling the impressions from the whimsical afternoon. No matter how cold a winter day in Colorado gets, you won’t miss out on the sun and that was true for our couple on this gorgeous winter day. The shoot was wrapped up during golden hour surrounded by mountain views overlooking the foothills of the Colorado Rockies.
Korynne + Company complemented the shoot with a beautiful dainty invitation suite in soft gray and a gold wax seal. We styled these beautiful invites with the modern Loeffler Randall Camellia Heels from BHLDN that have the cutest crinkled taffeta bows. The groom’s boutonniere from exclusively dried florals, such as bunny tails and ruscus grass, was another sweet detail to capture alongside the bridal shoes and invites.
